Job Description
Seeking a qualified a full and part-time Medical Biller/Coder. Needs to be efficient, accurate, hardworking and a team player. Must have experience verifying insurance, filing claims, payment posting, credentialing, and working appeal/denials. Check practitioners' codes for accuracy, work with outsource medical billing company and follow up with insurance companies in regards to denials/payments. Partner with the Clinic Manager to follow up with patients' insurance eligibility, co-pays, referrals, and authorizations. Strong communication skills and friendly personality. Must have at least 3 years Medical billing experience( to include charge capture, claims handling, payment posting, claims appeals/disputes) and certified coder.
