We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salon Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the beauty industry, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment. As the Salon Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and driving sales while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily salon operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and high-quality service delivery.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff through effective employee orientation and ongoing training programs.
  • Manage scheduling and shift management to optimize staff coverage and customer service.
  • Maintain inventory control by managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and conducting regular inventory audits.
  • Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and cash handling with accuracy.
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote salon services and drive sales growth.
  • Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership practices.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the salon.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Utilize POS systems for transactions and maintain accurate financial records.


Experience

  • Experience in retail management or salon management is preferred.
  • Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and training staff members.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and inventory management.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Previous supervisory experience is essential; assistant manager experience is also beneficial.
