Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) with every third weekend coverage.

\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in oncology to join our Infusion Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering chemotherapy and immunotherapy infusions, providing blood transfusions, assisting with lumbar punctures and intrathecal chemotherapy, and delivering other supportive care treatments for oncology patients, including those with solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, and post-transplant needs.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Administer medications and immunizations as per protocols.
\n
• Starting IVs and managing intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermal infusions.
\n
• Monitor vital signs and perform assessments, including obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG.
\n
• Provide patient teaching and prepare patients for procedures.
\n
• Ensure compliance with biohazard waste disposal and universal precautions.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including phlebotomy and social services.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, with a focus on oncology.
\n
• Current BLS certification required; ONCC/ONS chemotherapy certification preferred.
\n
• Experience with infusion therapy in oncology preferred.
\n
