Mission Our mission is to cultivate strong, genuine connections with the brand’s audience, creating a true sense of community and sparking engagement through meaningful interactions. We actively monitor social media channels to ensure every comment reflects positively and authentically on the brand. What You’ll Do You will dive into the travel and tourism world, connecting with the brand’s audiences for the Japanese market. You’ll be a master of context, addressing customer inquiries and comments in a timely, professional manner that resonates with the brand’s tone of voice. You’ll engage across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, keeping conversations vibrant. You will manage and grow an enthusiastic online community, moderating to ensure a welcoming, judgement‑free zone where consumers feel safe and respected. Working Hours We seek mixed flexibility across weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Availability across weekdays and essential weekends is required. Shifts: Moderation 12pm UK time, Community management 3pm UK time. Approximately 2-4 hours per week. Requirements Excellent Japanese language knowledge, superb writing skills. Advanced English language skills. Background experience in engagement, social customer care, or community management. Social media knowledge and trend awareness across platforms. Confidence with digital technology and tools such as Sprinklr, Social Sprout, scheduling tools, Google Chat, etc. Cultural knowledge and interest in California, and ability to learn the brand’s products. Self‑motivated, remote‑ready, structured approach, maintaining productivity and efficiency from home. IT Policy BYOD policy requires the following: Operating system: Windows 11 / macOS X version 13 (Ventura) or higher with Admin credentials. At least 8GB RAM (16GB recommended). Secure home broadband: minimum 20 Mbps download, 1 Mbps upload (recommended 50 Mbps / 5 Mbps). 40 GB available HDD (SSD recommended). Webcam and headset. Android or iOS device for 2FA. Chromebook, Linux, Cloud VMs are not supported. For local VM, send specs and explanation. Touchscreen monitor without keyboard and mouse is not allowed. Hiring Process Online assessment.
