Director of IT, Senior IT Manager
Santa Clara, CA 95054 | On-site

• Work Status: This is a W2 position with benefits. Contract and 3rd Party Candidates will not be considered.

 
We’re seeking a proactive Director or Senior Manager of IT to:

• Oversee internal operations for nearly 150 employees globally
• Maintain secure data systems
• Support product deployment

 
This role ensures smooth employee workflows, manages IT infrastructure, leads procurement and vendor relationships, and drives strategic IT initiatives.

 
THE POSITION: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage internal IT systems, user accounts, and software licensing
• Maintain and secure data room/server infrastructure, handle backups and disaster recovery
• Support product deployment and collaborate with engineering teams on IT integration
• Lead procurement, vendor management, and asset lifecycle coordination
• Evaluate new technologies, manage IT budgets, and align initiatives with business goals

 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• At least 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations management (tech/software preferred)
• Expertise in network design and communications
• Linux administration required
• IT system architecture required
• Proven experience in vendor negotiation, procurement, and delivery coordination
• Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN), firewalls, VPNs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and virtualization
• Experience with deployment automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills
• Experience supporting remote teams and hybrid work environments
• Ability to translate technical requirements into business solutions
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing procurement workflows
