Packaging Operator – Three Taverns Craft Brewery We are seeking an inspired and energetic packaging operator to join our team. This position will report directly to the Packaging Manager. Job Description Responsible for performing packaging functions, from set‑up to clean‑up, organization, and cleanliness of the packaging and warehouse facilities. Responsibilities Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently while focusing on quality. Follow SOPs. Perform quality control checks on finished product and bright beer tanks. Accurately document QC checks. Accurately report production quantities and results. Operate bottling, canning, and kegging lines, including preparations, cleanup, and shutdown. Operate forklifts. Maintain equipment in a clean, sanitary manner. Perform preventative maintenance on packaging equipment. Track raw materials throughout a packaging run. Cross‑train teammates. Communicate effectively and work well with other departments. Willing to help where needed to maintain a positive workflow. Open to learning and assisting in all aspects of cellaring, packaging, yeast handling, filtering, cleaning, and sanitizing, with the ability to grow a strong operation. Achieve department goals for safety, quality, efficiency, and cost. Participate in tasting panel work as needed. Requirements Must be able to lift 55 lbs. Must be able to safely move 165 lbs repeatedly. Troubleshooting skills sufficient to diagnose and correct small mechanical issues. Detail‑driven with strong documentation skills. Team player with interpersonal skills. Work in a loud, wet environment in hot and cold conditions. Be able to stand 8‑10 hours per shift. Flexibility to work irregular hours. Work safely around hazardous materials and forklifts. Warehouse and/or packaging experience is a plus. Compensation Competitive pay based on experience.
