Overview HDR is seeking civil, structural, geotechnical, hydraulic engineers to provide project, geographic and technical leadership in our dam, levee and flood resilience programs. HDR is employee-owned and highly ranked in ENR for Dams and Reservoirs and Hydropower. Our program aims to improve the resiliency, sustainability, and safety of communities as dams, levees and flood control systems adapt to a changing climate. Responsibilities Provide project, geographic and technical leadership on complex dam, levee and flood resilience management projects as engineers of record, group managers and technical practice leaders. Apply expertise in potential failure mode analysis (PFMA) and related analyses to design, risk assessments and project execution. Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance solutions that improve resiliency and safety of water infrastructure. Qualifications Civil, structural, geotechnical or hydraulic engineers with experience in dam, levee and flood resilience projects. Expertise in potential failure mode analysis (PFMA) or strong interest in PFMA is desirable. Location and opportunities HDR has over 200 locations in the United States.
