Pay Range: $25–$30 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Job description:

We are seeking a skilled Gunsmith to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and restoring firearms to proper working condition. You will also document repairs, provide feedback to the manufacturing team, and ensure firearms are tested accurately and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and performance issues with firearms.
• Repair, replace, or adjust firearm components as needed.
• Conduct accurate and safe test-firing of firearms to verify repairs.
• Document all repair work, including details of issues identified and corrective actions taken.
• Communicate findings and recurring issues to the manufacturing team for quality improvement.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in the use of precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, including Dremels and files.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently, independently, and with a high degree of accuracy.
• Safe handling and operation of firearms in all testing environments.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a gunsmith or in a related role (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of firearm function, assembly, and repair techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify issues quickly.
• High level of safety awareness when working with firearms.
