Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Associate Attorney to join our team in the Silicon Valley. In this role, you will work closely with clients to address their estate planning, elder law, special needs, and estate tax planning needs. This position offers the opportunity to manage client interactions, draft and review legal documents, and take on independent client matters as you grow within the firm. Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive legal counsel on estate planning, elder law, special needs trusts, and estate tax matters.
• Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all documentation.
• Represent clients in probate and estate administration proceedings, offering guidance and advocacy.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Manage ongoing client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and clear communication.
• Develop and implement estate succession plans tailored to clients’ unique needs and goals.
• Stay updated on changes in estate law and tax regulations to provide informed advice.
• Balance multiple client matters and deadlines efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning, elder law, special needs, or estate tax planning.
• Proven expertise in probate and estate administration processes.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities to manage complex cases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Admission to the State Bar of California and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to grow within a boutique law firm setting.
