Job Details
A well-established and respected business firm in Fresno is seeking to hire a Controller to lead its financial operations. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organization with a strong reputation for quality and community impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, payroll, and general ledger
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies
Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and tax professionals
Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership
Position will report to the CFO.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (public accounting background is preferred)
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller or senior finance role
3.Strong knowledge of job costing or construction accounting
4.Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
5.Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
