Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician, where your expertise will drive the success of our service department! In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our customers. Your mechanical skills and automotive knowledge will be essential in delivering top-tier service that keeps our clients satisfied and their vehicles running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and engines.
  • Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems with precision.
  • Service and repair GM vehicles and other makes/models, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.
  • Execute wheel alignments and wheel balancing to optimize vehicle handling and safety.
  • Repair or replace vehicle components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive tools.
  • Stay current with industry trends by participating in ongoing training on automotive electrical systems, emissions controls, and new vehicle technologies.
  • Ensure all work meets safety standards and quality assurance protocols

Qualifications

  • Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
  • Extensive mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and engines.
  • Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics reading.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive maintenance tools.
  • Experience working on GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately for precise repairs.
  • Valid technician certification or relevant ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications and State Inspection licenses are highly desirable.
